Recently, JAC Motors successfully held a brand launch event in the Malaysian market. At the event, the T9 fuel-powered pickup and China’s first four-wheel-drive pure electric pickup, the T9EV, were unveiled. Additionally, various models, including fuel-powered light trucks and electric light trucks I40, I75, and I90, were introduced, receiving unanimous praise from guests and media in attendance.

At the event, JAC Motors held a handover ceremony for the first batch of electric light trucks for the Malaysian market, along with a signing ceremony with local strategic partners and eight prospective secondary network partners. This significantly strengthened the confidence of partners, dealers, and major clients in collaboration and enhanced the brand influence of JAC Motors.

It is reported that JAC Motors established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia to achieve localized operations, driven by a long-term strategic plan for the Malaysian and ASEAN markets. JAC Motors will adhere to a strategy of “integrating commercial and passenger vehicles, advancing both fuel and electric power,” focusing on new brands, products, technologies, and manufacturing. By deepening its presence in the Malaysian market, JAC aims to offer users a wider range of product choices, support the development of new energy vehicles in Malaysia, and contribute to the country’s carbon neutrality goals.

The relevant Malaysian representative stated that JAC Motors’ operations in Malaysia will help the country become a regional hub for vehicle manufacturing and export, as well as create employment opportunities for high-skilled talent locally.
