In September 2024, the sales in China’s heavy-duty truck market are estimated to be around 56,000 units (including exports and new energy vehicles), a 10% decline compared to August. Year-on-year, sales dropped by 35% from 85,700 units last year, a decrease of nearly 30,000 units.
From January to September 2024, approximately 681,200 units of various types of heavy-duty trucks were sold in the Chinese market, a decrease of nearly 25,500 units compared to the same period last year. The cumulative growth rate turned negative, standing at -4%.
